Aftercare
If your tattoo is covered by a specialized tattoo film (second skin), wait about 24hrs to max 3 days, then remove.
Remove the film by running some warm water to lift the corners and then begin to pull the film away from the skin.

wash the tattoo with gentle unscented soap 2x a day, let it air dry or use a clean paper towel

avoid scratching or touching the tattoo, let it breathe and wear loose clothing if possible

when the tattoo is completely dry, apply a thin layer of unscented moisturizing cream, I recommend Cerave moisturizing cream
-
Moisturize your tattoo 2x a day for the next 2 weeks
3. Maintain
-
Cerave or Lubriderm are gentle and unscented, they are a great option for a basic moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated.
-
avoid using products containing petroleum or using vaseline as it can clog pores
-
the tattoo might began to flake and that's completely normal, don't try to peel or scratch the tattoo
During the healing process please avoid:

-
saunas, hot showers, taking a bath
-
swimming in pools, lakes, ocean a there is a risk of infection in the tattoo in these environments
-
do not use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean your tattoo as it can damage the tattoo
-
avoid intense physical exercises or sports
-
avoid wearing tight clothing that could rub against the tattoo
-
avoid sunbathing, do not apply sunscreen on your freshly done tattoo, wait at least 30 days
-
alcohol is not recommended for the first couple of days after your session. Alcohol has a tendency ti weaken the immune system, hinder the body's regenerative process and could cause swelling of the tattoo
